conference 2008

October 14-24, 2008

The Conference

The conference was many things to many people. To the new PCUSA Churches and ECCB Parishes it was a chance to begin a new relationship. Planning for the conference was a year in planning, and most all who attended agree, it was a wonderful event - well worth the effort.

From the gracious Czech hosts, to the Czech (ECCB) / American (PCUSA) teams responsible for organizing the content, the conference will be remembered for a long time.

Hopefully the new partnership “seeds”that were planted at the conference will bloom to be beautiful full blossoms.

The conference started with 3 days in Prague,

After Prague each pair of American Church representatives traveled with their Czech hosts back to the towns Friendships deepened.

Along the way, introductions were made, friendships formed, and new beginnings under way.
